Gioielli in Fermento 2016

Parchment (animal skin) captivates by its unpredictability, resistance and
lightness. The brooch consists of multiple same-shaped and hand-dyed round pieces,
which become a small nest of soft and subtle sounds. Touching and wearing it reminds
one of how fragile yet strong and adaptive nature can be, adjusting to the shape of the body, and tuning in with the surroundings.

Daria Olejniczak nata in Polonia nel 1980, laureata in Architettura alla Technical University di Lodz, ha poi conseguito un master in Lighting design al politecnico di Wismar in Germania. Dopo diversi anni di esperienza nel campo del light design, Daria ha deciso di intraprendere nuovi studi completando il BFA da Alchimia, la celebre scuola orafa internazionale di Firenze.
Ha vinto il Premio Gioielli in Fermento 2016 Sezione Studenti.

Daria Olejniczak born in 1980, in Poland, graduated in Architecture from Technical University in Lodz, and gained a Master’s Degree in Lighting Design from Hochschule
in Wismar, Germany. After several years of experience in the lighting design field, Daria began matriculation at Alchimia Jewellery School in Florence, Italy where she is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in Contemporary Jewellery Design.
