“The beauty of the landscape what accrues, when vineyards formed the original, natural landscape with their winestocks and rows. It also changes the original countryside and it looks like a drawing with implicit freedom in all directions – from some point of views it ends up in the sky. But it isn’t, there are limits like geology, weather, position, respect. All these aspects I will show: the fascinating beauty of the colours you can savor their when you take a walk through the winerows. The free arranged frames symbolize the lines of the rows and also our human limits in all our activity.

Gran parte del mio lavoro si ispira alla natura, alle architetture e alle forme: ricercare e scoprire sagome e volumi e trasformarli in nuovi elementi con una loro espressione estetica, basata sull’originale. Lavoro molto a partire da fotografie che mi piace scattare ovunque mi trovi: tutto ciò che mi sembra speciale, piccole cose per me possono essere speciali.

Most of my work is inspired by nature, architecture and patterns. The searching and finding of shapes, and then transforming them into a new character and aesthetical expression, based on the ‘original’. I work a lot in taking photos of things in my surrounding wherever I am. Maybe something small, not important when You see it at first, for me might get something special.”

Food for the soul – the spirit of 3 brooches

Sensible living, thinking and acting in our personal life.
Escape yourself from the omnipresent overstimulation in these days and to decide for the valuable – for the purpose of substance and quality.
The front side refers to what  important pleasure nature is for mind and soul when we consider blooming, movement of the sea and the harmony in the quietness of nature.
The equally important backside will suggest to the handling with it, to decide to aware eating: good simple ingredients from regional agriculture, drinking: an expecially taste as a result of the specific circumstances and the simplicity of the things in the essential form: square, rectangle and circle.

Cibo per l’anima in tre spille

Vivere, pensare e agire con sensibilità nella nostra vita personale.
Sfuggire alla sovra-stimolazione onnipresente al giorno d’oggi e scegliere qualcosa che vale, ai fini della sostanza e della qualità.
Il lato frontale delle spille si riferisce a quale importante forma di piacere la natura sia per la mente e l’anima, mentre pensiamo allo sbocciare dei fiori (Wine&Blossom), al movimento del mare (Food&Sea), all’armonia nella quiete della natura (Form&Silence).
Altrettanto importante il retro suggerirà il rapporto con tutto ciò. Scegliere un’alimentazione consapevole: buoni e semplici ingredienti dall’agricoltura regionale, un bere attento al gusto per la specificità di provenienza e la semplicità delle cose in forma essenziale: quadrato, rettangolo, cerchio.

 

 

Claudia Steiner vive e lavora a Vienna, Austria.
Dall’accademia orafa di Vienna, attraverso numerosi approfondimenti al seguito di maestri orafi contemporanei (Helen Britton, Stefano Marchetti, Erico Nagai, Lucy Sarneel), ha ottenuto importanti riconoscimenti nel 2015  il Premio Pinton a Padova, e nelle collezioni Gioielli in Fermento (Klimt02 nel 2014).
Una degli aspetti più interessanti dell’artista orafo, dice, è che puoi portare addosso la tua opera, ed esprimere così la tua propria visione e la tua personalità, ovunque ti trovi.

Claudia comes from Wien, Goldschmidt Academy, and after focusing on a number of experiences with contemporary goldsmith artists (Helen Britton, Stefano Marchetti, Erico Nagai, Lucy Sarneel) she now obtains honours as the recent Premio Pinton 2015 in Padua.
Her statement has to do with the aesthetic of the changing form: a detail from nature or architecture, the change while using different materials and structure, the transformation into another aesthetic meaning.
One of the most interesting things as jeweller – she says – is, that you can wear your own art-object on your body or clothes, to make a visual statement of your personality wherever you are.
