Presenza e assenza è un tema importante nel mio lavoro.
Nei miei gioielli lavoro spesso con chip da carte di credito usate dove l’esterno in oro rappresenta un valore interiore nascosto. Dove forma e funzione danno questa rappresentazione di valori interiori, dell’anima. Nella mia collana Crucifix ho preso l’originale forma a croce di un chip allargandola ad uno dei simboli spirituali nel mondo di oggi. La spilla Solely red/Unicamente rosso, che ricorda l’eucarestia, la cialda nella forma ed il vino nel colore e con un’impronta dalla croce di base, porta avanti questo tema.
Come sono qui, convenzionale o non convenzionale? Il cibo per l’anima dovrebbe essere cibo per la mente.

Presence and absence is an important theme in my work.
In my jewellery I often work with chips from used credit cards where the golden outside represents a hidden inner value. My jewellery, in form and function, is about this representation of inner hidden values, of the soul. In my necklace Crucifix I have taken the original cross shape of a chip and enlarged it to one of the spiritual symbols in the world today. The brooch Solely Red, reminiscent of communion wafer in form and of wine in color, and with an imprint from the original cross carries this theme further.
Am I Conventional here, or unconventional? Food for the soul should be food for thought.
