(r)evoluzione
Nel 1859 Charles Darwin pubblicò “L’origine della specie”. Egli introdusse la teoria scientifica che tutte le specie di vita discendono da antenati comuni attraverso un processo di evoluzione di selezione naturale in cui “non è il più forte della specie, né il più intelligente che sopravvive ma quello che è il più adattabile al cambiamento”. Seguendo la sua teoria, il mio lavoro diventa un processo illimitato in costante progresso e adattamento mosso da un desiderio di cambiamento.
Un “effetto farfalla” che non si fermerà perché tutto nella vita è intrinsecamente legato. Le farfalle permettono una metamorfosi di idee, desideri, fantasie che termina nella loro materializzazione in un gioiello. Mantenendo la loro origine primaria, continuano in evoluzione attraverso la molteplicità, si riorganizzano, trasformano o mimetizzano, finché acquisiscono nuove strutture realizzando una transizione così varia e toccante come l’affascinante sensazione di farfalle nello stomaco.
Le farfalle mostrano la loro bellezza non solo nella loro morfologia o colori, ma anche nella loro trasformazione, fulcro della creazione.
Il passo successivo del mio lavoro é stato giocare con le farfalle ripensandole in forme nuove, con leggerezza, resistenza, movimento e colori, senza perdere la loro essenza. Lavandula è il mimetismo che si vede in natura.

In 1859 Charles Darwin published “On the Origin of Species”. He introduced the scientific theory that all species of life have descended from common ancestors through the process of evolution of the natural selection: “it is not the strongest of the species, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change”. Following his theory, my work becomes an unlimited process in constant progress and adaptation as a result of a desire for change. A “Butterfly effect” that will not stop because all in life is intrinsically related. Butterflies allow a metamorphosis of ideas, desires, fantasies that ends in its materialization as a jewel. Keeping their primary origin, they continue evolving through the multiplicity, as they rearrange, transform or camouflage themselves, until they acquire new structures in the making of a transition so diverse and touching as the charming sensation of feeling butterflies in the stomach.
Butterflies show that beauty not only in their morphology or colours but even in the attitude that they adopt in every transformation, the main ideas of the creation. Playing with butterflies rearranging them into new shapes without losing their essence. That was the next step of my work.
Lavandula appears as a result of mimetism you can see in the nature. Lightness, strength, movement and colorful are the main elements of the work.
