Gioielli in Fermento 2015

Sergio and Stefano Spivach, they are brothers, live and work in their magic workshop in Udine with long tradition and expertise working with opal stones. In 2001 they started new experimentation in shaping, highlighting the geometric and geological interpretation of the essence of opals, thanks to their magic colours and using the support of precious metals. The metal supports the structure of the piece of jewellery and gets its perfect fusion playing with the organic and irregular shapes, typical of each opal stone. Spivach’s action is a kind of “liquid” creative process, as it finds its consistency in the ever inspiring changing beauty of opals.

Ha inizio nel 2001 il progetto AQA dei fratelli Sergio e Stefano Spivach, attraverso la sperimentazione di forme nuove, interpretazioni geometriche e geologiche, l’uso del colore e di materiali preziosi. I gioielli di AQA sono un tutt’uno con la pietra dalla quale nascono, che diviene il punto focale, il soggetto e la struttura del gioiello stesso. Il metallo si fonde quindi ad essa in un gioco di forme organiche ed irregolari, fungendo da complemento e sostegno. Il processo creativo seguito si può definire “liquido”, poiché trova il proprio corrispondente nella mutevole bellezza dell’opale.
