Susanna Baldacci, 1967, vive e lavora a Pisa

La mia formazione in oreficeria inizia a Firenze alla “Scuola internazionale delle arti dei metalli”.
Si parla di venticinque anni fa e in quel periodo oltre ad apprendere le principali tecniche, ho lavorato gomito a gomito con compagni di corso provenienti da tutto il mondo, principalmente nord europei e giapponesi.
Questa mescolanza di culture e i miei insegnanti, Bino Bini e Hisako Murata anche essa giapponese, hanno influenzato fortemente il mio lavoro negli anni successivi fino ad oggi.

Susanna Baldacci lives and works in Pisa, Italy

My training in golsmithery begins in Florence at the “International School of Metal Arts”. We are talking about a period dating back twenty-five years and at the time, besides learning the maine tecniques, I worked side by side with course-mates from all over the world, mostly from Northern Europe and Japan.
This mixture of cultures and my teachers Bino Bini and Hisako Murata (who was also from Japan) have greatly influenced my work in the following years right up to this day.
